The Odd Couple! Cast, Crew List & Ticket Information

By: Neil Simon
Directed By: Ralph Frattura

Performance Location:
Liberace Auditorium
West Milwaukee Intermediate School
51st & Greenfield Ave.
West Allis

The Cliff Notes:
Felix Ungar, a neurotic, neat freak news writer, is thrown out by his wife, and moves in with his friend Oscar Madison, a slovenly sportswriter. Despite Oscar’s problems – careless spending, excessive gambling, a poorly kept house filled with spoiled food – he seems to enjoy life. Felix, however, seems utterly incapable of enjoying anything and only finds purpose in pointing out his own and other people’s mistakes and foibles. Even when he tries to do so in a gentle and constructive way, his corrections and suggestions prove extremely annoying to those around him, eventually breaking up the ritual weekly poker game with friends. Oscar, his closest friend, feels compelled to throw him out after only a brief time together, though he quickly realizes that Felix has had a positive effect on him.

A Broadway Journey

Poster - A Broadway Journey

Come and enjoy the music of the very best Broadway composers as we present “A Broadway Journey”.

This review will combine songs of well-known shows with some lesser-known works in the Broadway musical canon. The performances will blend narrative moments with beautiful musical renditions and mix heartfelt selections with comedic interludes.

Show Announcement: Cancellation for 7/14

Due to the extreme heat predicted for Sunday, July 14, and lack of air conditioning at West Allis Central High School Auditorium, the West Allis Players are cancelling July 14th’s matinee performance of “Is Murder Tax-deductible?”

This is beyond our control and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience. We will be having performances July 12th and 13th and be back next weekend July 19 and 20 at 7:30 and at 2:00 pm July 21. Any tickets purchased for July 14 will be honored at any other performance.
