And so begins the countdown to opening night of Fools, our first show of our 57th season. The cast has been hard at working shaping their characters, learning their lines, and nailing the blocking. The crew has joined in over the last couple of weeks brining the set to life, plotting the lights, and finding the perfect music selections to bring it all together.
As any actor or technician will tell you, this is the hardest week of any show as all the pieces come together. Often it’s longer rehearsal nights, but, you, the audience, get to come and enjoy every bit of their hard work.

The Cliff Notes: Fools is a romantic, comic fable set in the 19th century village of Kulyenchikov. The tale follows a schoolteacher, who arrives to tutor the town doctor’s daughter. He quickly learns that the town is under a 200-year-old curse that makes everyone chronically stupid!
