The Cliff Notes:
Fools is a romantic, comic fable set in the 19th century village of Kulyenchikov. The tale follows a schoolteacher, who arrives to tutor the town doctorโ€™s daughter. He quickly learns that the town is under a 200-year-old curse that makes everyone chronically stupid!
